Reviews of Monterey Tides

Michael
The hotel had a freshly cooked and healthy breakfast. My room was pet-friendly and had a safe for safety measures. The location was perfect and excellent, and I could use private parking on-site.
-
William
The location by the beach was wonderful, and the room was spacious and stylish with blackout curtains and a cozy carpet, plus don't miss dining at The Sand Bar restaurant.
-
Nick
The location of Monterey Tides was ideal, with picturesque views of the Pacific and lush gardens. The 42-inch flat-screen TV and free Starbucks coffee were overshadowed by the tired room with broken blinds, subpar maintenance, and a bathroom that needed attention.
The hotel failed to meet expectations. It was not as portrayed in the pictures, and the services were lacking.
-
Christian
The hotel was fairly clean and the location was marvellous and lovely in cinemas. The staff was incredibly welcoming and amazingly nice and check in was smooth. My compact and nicely updated room came with view to the garage, private balconies, as for instance. Its service was friendly.

The views at Monterey Tides are spectacular, with the beach mere yards from my room. I enjoyed waking up to the peaceful sight of the Pacific and lush gardens from my window. The sweet receptionist went out of her way to ensure I had extra blankets for the chilly nights, which was a thoughtful touch.
The room was lacking in hotel information, needing extensive renovation, and the restaurant was unexpectedly closed on Monday and Tuesday nights.

The location is absolutely perfect with the beach just steps away. We were blown away by the stunning sea views from our room and the restaurant. The room was comfortable and the food was delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel secure and welcome. We loved the happy hour overlooking the beach and the ability to walk right onto the beach for morning walks. We even got to see porpoises and seals during our stay. This hotel is definitely one of our favorites and we can't wait to come back!
